Larry Lewis, born in Ohio, grew up in Western Canada with his parents Don & Marilyn Lewis who worked as missionaries for twenty years. He has a Bachelor of Theology from Ozark Christian College and is a veteran of the US Army (including service in Germany).  He has been a minister for twenty-five years.

In Children’s ministry for many years and a retired Kindergarten teacher, Teri Lewis, a Florida native, has a Bachelor of Education from Central Florida Bible College.  After eleven years working together in a Florida church, the Lewis’ and their two daughters, Micah and Ericah, moved to Berlin in 2011 to become the directors of Connections.

Micah (Tyler) MacBride and Ericah (Jonah) German have recently married and reside in the United States.
